  • Identifying project optimization opportunities of 5 solar farm tax equity portfolios

Contract Utility Forester- Plank Road Forestry       June 2021- August 2021

  • Used GIS mapping software to gather data on trees that were a danger to falling on Duke Energy’s distribution lines at specific locations
  • Investigated signs of tree decay
  • Took Diameter at Brest Height (DBH) measurements to determine the cost of cutting
  • Used a range finder to measure each tree’s height and distance from the power line
  • Learned to identify tree species in North Carolina and South Carolina

  • Completed the project management for 37 residential solar system installations equating to a total of 220.58 kilowatts of renewable energy generation that offset 570,952 gallons of gasoline or 1,818 tons of waste over 20 years
  • Generated interest via door to door sales to build a pipeline of 100+ qualified leads   
  • Earned the award for #1 producer at the company for July, August, and Quarter 3
